Young Living has announced that it is indefinitely halting its business activities in Russia. The move follows a previous announcement in March 2022, when the company suspended certain promotional and operational activities in Russia and the CIS region. Young Living representatives who live in Russia will no longer have access to buy or sell Young Living products.
The company cited “complex and rapidly changing circumstances in the region,” saying it “realizes that it can no longer sustain its business in the Russian market.”
The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation is committed to continuing its work with humanitarian organizations on Ukraine’s borders to support displaced families. The company has already raised more than $260,000 through its US “Dollar Up” campaign and provided 416,666 meals to Ukrainian refugees through its partner Feed My Starving Children.
“Young Living Essential Oils officially opened in Russia in 2020, which makes the decision to say goodbye extremely difficult,” said Kristen Tod, president of Young Living for EMEA and Russia. “Brand Partners in this market have played a vital role in the remarkable expansion of Young Living’s mission to foster wellness around the world, and today we express our deep sadness, gratitude, and heartfelt thanks for their contributions.”
